My first home out of college was a duplex and I had big plans for how I wanted to decorate my space.I was a Kindergarten teacher, so of course, I didn’t have unlimited funds, but I was not going to let a tight budget stop me. I began researching the look I wanted for my home in high-end stores that were way out of my price range. I gathered inspiration from these stores and took myself down to the thrift store to recreate the same looks for less.I would find vases that I could spray paint, furniture I could refinish, or fabric I could use to reupholster. I have to tell you that I became hooked...it was so fun and such a creative outlet for me.My love for DIY was born!When I created Liz Fenwick DIY in 2018 I took a chance that I could find a group of creatives who would be interested in how to DIY from a teacher at heart. I still can’t believe that 3 years later, DIYing my home is my full-time job.The best part is by far the joy I get in teaching others on Youtube.

熱海市街から車で15分の場所にボロ別荘を購入しました！その物件は雑草が生い茂り、雨漏りが起きて床や天井が腐り、窓ガラスは強風で割れていて、下水管も割れています。だけど海が見えて、熱海や網代に買い物へ行くのも便利な場所。約100坪の土地にあるこのボロ別荘を再生して、私自身が理想とするカルフォルニアスタイルの別荘へとDIYリフォームしていきたいと思います。そしていつの日か、私が使わない時はみんなに民泊として使ってもらうまでの記録です！
